Female Entrepreneurs' Discussion Forum

Do come and join us in the discussion forum to express your views, comments and opinions on various women's issues and to keep track of information on what is going on in the course modules. Let me know if there are any particularly sticky issues that you are concerned about and I will create a specific forum for it. May I please request participants to follow proper Netiquette rules. I would also like to discourage cross-posting or double-posting irrelevant messages to conserve traffic.

Women Returner's Network

'At the dawn of the new Millennium, globalisation, the growth of information and communications technology and changing social attitudes were identified as some of the key forces likely to reshape the workforce in the 21st century.' The Women Returner's Network (WRN), an independent charitable organisation dedicated to helping women returners in all 4 devolved countries of the UK to achieve their aspirations and improve employment opportunities in the workplace, was established. They provide practical assistance for free. The website tackles current issues for women in the workplace and women returners, provides help in searching for employment, steps to building self-confidence, and a message board with various discussion forums. Read Reconciling Work and Family Life: Central Issues for Women Returners in the 21st Century a report by Dr Jennifer Tomlinson, Commissioning Editor Joy MacMillan, Women Returners Network.
